This is a medium-sized stoneware hanging pot or cache pot. It is wheel thrown, trimmed, textured, and carved, and hung with an antique brass plated steel hanging chain. It is signed and dated, glazed in a satin golden beige and black glaze, and electric fired to about 2190 degrees Fahrenheit.
This piece measures approximately 6 3/8 inches tall, 6 3/4 inches wide at the rim, and 4 3/4 inches deep. It can hold a 6 inch plant pot.
