This is a small stoneware hanging pot or cache pot. It is wheel thrown, trimmed and textured, and hung with an antique brass plated steel chain. It is signed and dated, glazed in a satin golden yellow to beige glaze, and electric fired to about 2190 degrees Fahrenheit.
This piece measures approximately 5 1/4 inches tall, 5 3/4 inches wide at the mouth, and about 5 inches deep. It can hold a standard 4 to 5 inch plant pot.
