porcelain hanging pot in red, gray, and yellow

This is a porcelain hanging pot or cache pot. It is wheel thrown, trimmed, and carved, and hung with an antique brass-plated steel hanging chain. It is signed and dated, glazed in satin red and gray, and glossy yellow glazes, and electric fired to about 2210 degrees Fahrenheit.

This piece measures approximately 6 1/2 inches tall, 7 1/2 inches wide at the widest point of the rim, and 5 1/2 inches deep. It can hold up to a 6" plant pot (photo 8).
