This is a medium-sized white stoneware mug. It is wheel thrown, trimmed, textured, and carved, with hand built handle and tripod feet. It is signed and dated, glazed in a satin red, gray, and dirty yellow glaze, and electric fired in oxidation to about 2210 degrees Fahrenheit.
This piece measures approximately 4 1/2 inches tall, 5 1/4 inches wide at the handle, and 3 1/4 inches wide at the rim. It can safely hold 14 fluid ounces.
