This is a white stoneware hanging pot or cache pot. It is wheel thrown, trimmed, textured, and carved, and hung with an antique brass plated steel chain. It is signed and dated, glazed in a glossy black, red, and beige glaze, and electric fired to about 2210 degrees Fahrenheit.
This piece measures approximately 6 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches wide at the rim, and 4 1/4 inches deep. It can hold a standard 4 inch plastic plant pot.
